MIND, BODY & SPIRIT GROUP FOR MOMS
With Jaclyn Long, Yoga & Meditation Instructor and Marriage & Family Therapist

New Year's Day Workshop

You're a great mom, but when was the last time you did something for yourself?
If you give some time to yourself, you'll have more of yourself to give your kids.

We all know we are better mothers when we take good care of ourselves and find ways to connect with each other. The Mind, Body & Spirit Group for Moms is an opportunity to nourish your mind with mindfulness practices, calm the body with gentle yoga, and nurture the heart with community building exercises. No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome and encouraged. Please bring a mat if you have one, and wear loose, comfortable clothing.

The Oshman Family JCC
Early Childhood Education Center - Bldg C

Palo Alto, CA

When:
Thursdays, September 20, 2012 thru December 13, 2012 ~ 9:30am to 11:30am

Instructor:
Jaclyn Long is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, a Marriage & Family Therapist, and a mom. After graduating Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) from Princeton University with a degree in psychology and a specialization in neuroscience, Jackie Long was on a path to study the effects of yoga and meditation on the brain. She realized along the way, however, that practicing and teaching yoga fulfilled her much more than researching it. Stepping out of academia and onto the yoga mat has changed her life and she finds great inspiration from her own practice and from each of her students. Jaclyn graduated from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2004 with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a certificate in Creative Expression. She has a private practice in Los Altos. You can find out more about her counseling practice at www.JaclynLong.com.
